Wonderful! Loved the artwork. House was very cool. Easy to walk to town - about 5 minutes. HKWVR was extremely accommodating, especially Aubrey. It was too hot to use the back patio area and grill, but it is so quaint!

We love this place! Second time staying at Solaris Cottage. Clean & cozy. Just far enough removed from Duval St. that you don't get all the noise & drunks, but close enough to easily walk to shops, restaurants, etc. This has been a great rental. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is very cute and clean. Nice location, close to all the fun but not too close so it's nice and quiet. Staff was really responsive to any requests. I will definitely say the bed needs to be replaced. It sagged in the center really bad and my husband kept rolling over on me. We will definitely stay again.

This was a great rental - very clean, quiet, and comfortable! We loved the location! We came down to judge the Key Lime Cocktails and found that we could walk to most of the activities we had planned. The property managers were very helpful and available. We were even able to check in early!

Unit was what we were looking for. Cozy, with kitchen and great location. Excellent restaurant, Lola's, 1/2 block away. Pedal bikes are a great way to get around.
A/C unit in the bedroom could present sleeping problems with noise.

We stayed at Solaris Cottage for two weeks and found it very comfortable. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed. A big plus was the artwork on the walls which gave the cottage a homey not hotel feeling. The location is perfect. We were able to walk or bike everywhere.

Solaris Cottage is a perfect place for one or two people to stay. It's only a block and a half away from Duval St where all the action is and when you're done ,a perfect place for some quiet. It's in a nice quiet location with nice front porch or little garden area to sit back and relax.
The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable with everything thing you need and expect from a nice vacation home.
Check in and check out is easy and everyone was very professional and friendly
Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We loved our rental, close enough to Duval to walk to fun bars and restaurants, but far enough away to have peaceful quiet night sleep. Very clean and well maintained, they even provided dishes, pots, pans and utensils just incase you'd rather stay in for breakfast.

It was so nice to feel at home. This apartment was so cozy and had everything we needed and more. We didn’t need a car because it was close enough to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go. We used the free Duval Loop bus when we didn’t feel like walking, there was a bus stop right around the corner from our apartment! And then there was the Key West Rentals staff! Easy to contact, great advice, quick responses, treated us like family. On a scale if 1 to 10, this place gets a 20!

OMGosh! This adorable cottage is perfectly located for enjoying old town Key West and is situated on a quiet residential street. This is one of the best rentals we experienced--clean, well furnished, great local artwork to enjoy and it is within walking distance to restaurants, attractions and the beach. We found the Solaris apartment to be perfect for our needs in terms of size, location and amenities. We also found the owner and rental company to be very considerate and attentive as well as the big orange resident cat who liked to visit. Our only issue was late night noise from the rental units across the narrow street. We recognize that this was not the fault of the owner or rental company, but is always a possibility in vacation properties. We would love to return next year and hopefully, stay longer. We have also stayed in the other Solaris apartment which we liked equally. It was a glorious vacation. Thank you!

Solaris Cottage is perfect for two people and it's location makes it easy to walk (or bike) anywhere from Southernmost to Mallory Square! If we were to make one suggestion it would be to allow guests to leave rental keys in the unit at the end of their stay. Highly recommend!

For this being the first time we ever did anything like this it went well. It was close to everything. We walked the entire time. The cottage was just the right size for what we needed it for. The only complaint I would have is parking is hard to find, so if you get one, park it and leave it. Also, not much green space for dogs.

We were very relaxed and looked forward to coming back at the end of each day, the chair with the footstool in front of the tv was a most welcome. The property is right in the middle of town, good for sunrise and sunset.

Great location. Very well equipped unit. Would love to go back and stay a bit longer! If you drive, once you find a parking spot, keep it. Getting around is much easier on a bike if walking is an issue.

This is a small cottage that is cutely decorated with new furniture. It is big enough for 2 people and a 2-3 block walk to Duval street. You're in Key West, how much room do you need! :) The next time I'm in Key West, I will see if this is available!

The cottage is in a great location..about 3 blocks off of Duval. It is in a very quiet part of town. Not quite within walking distance to the beach, but a good bike ride. The cottage is very clean. The only trouble we had was getting the place to stay cool enough for comfortable sleeping at night.

Wonderful central location. Fully loaded kitchen and bbq but never used it because I was so close to wonderful eateries and able to walk everywhere.

We had an incredible few days in this adorable cottage. It was very well equipped and within walking distance to almost everything. The bed was quite noisy which was distracting during the night, but overall enjoyed our stay....especially the lovely garden area.

The location of Solaris Cottage couldn't be better. We never got in a taxi all week, just walked everywhere. The area is quiet at night which is nice. The check in and out was super simple and even received a phone call to make sure we were all settled in. Very friendly group at the office!! We will use them for future trips for sure. Oh and everything was very clean when we arrived.

Great central location and fair value. Mgmt staff were friendly and accommodating. Mattress and sofa were overly soft and not that comfortable. Also no parking and next time on the key I will make sure I have a place with parking which is an issue. Also didn’t like that unless you purchased insurance you have to provide a $3,000 deposit. That wasn’t clear to me at time of rental which in effect significantly raised the rate. You may want to ask about it.

The bungalow is nestled in a lane just off Duval very centrally located but very private. There are a few neighboring structures that are not well kept but we can overlook that. It is very nicely furnished and equipped and very comfortable for two people or a couple with a child. Highly recommended.

When we rented Chick-A-Pea we thought we'd have plenty of room, but as additional family members committed to coming, we needed additional space. The Solaris Cottage worked out perfectly as an auxiliary sleeping venue. Same charm as our larger cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy Key West's finest! We did find parking fairly easily, although it was somewhat far from the property. We picked this place because they offer a washer and dryer (for all our beach things, towels, SCUBA diving stuff), but the dryer was broken. We called the management company and they found a dryer to use at the property close by, which was nice! The cottage was perfectly clean and well suited for us, an older couple that loves Key West.

Solaris Cottage is located in a perfect spot, two blocks east of Duval Street, smack in the middle of everything and quiet.
We rented bicycles which offered either a short ride or walk to either the southern part of town or Mallory Square.
Our only issue with the cottage was the mattress was very soft and seemed like the floors had not been washed for some time.
We highly recommend this cottage for being quaint, quiet and close to everything.

Loved the stay. Great location. Clean house. Good neighboring properties and renters/owners/locals. Couple suggestions:
1) provide the controller for the main AC unit in the living room. There was no way to adjust the main temp (that I could find) and it was too hot
2) update the website description to clarify that the side patio is a shared-space between the rental units...we were not expecting to encounter other people there.
3) shower rod is not very tight and slipped down couple times.
4) house could use a couple more lights, or brighter bulbs.

This is house is absolutely gorgeous and very nice to stay for the week, as I did. It has one bed, full kitchen, but no parking. We had to find free/or paid parking in Key West. Free parking is a little hard to find but it is there. This house had everything we needed, we bought groceries for the week and didnt eat out much. Has tv, a/c (if you need it), books to read at the beach, and games to play. The only downside is that there isnt a pool. Only across the street, be smart about it ;-)

The cottage itself is very cozy and has everything you need. It is clean, efficient, and in a great location - close to everything (2 min walk to Duvall; 10 min walk to Mallory Square; 15 min walk to Fort Zachary Beach). Even though it is located so close to Duvall, it is far enough away that it is very quiet at night. We also got to meet the owner who is a very nice lady (lives upstairs). Vacation Rental Management Staff - Danny - was extremely helpful. Not only did he provide us with activities we wanted to do, but he even drove us to the airport when our taxi did not show up. He went above and beyond. Never seen customer service like this! He is the greatest asset of the management company!

Great location. Pleasant, clean, bright and welcoming cottage. People were very friendly all about Key West. Food was spectacular. Enjoyed the historical locales.

This was our second consecutive vacation staying in Solaris Cottage and we had another wonderful time. The owner obviously cares about the comfort of her guests.
The cottage is in a great location, especially to our favorite restaurants on Petronia. An easy 15 minute walk to either end of the island. Close enough to Duval for a quick walk but far enough away that you don't hear the noise.
Solaris Cottage is kept good shape with a full, usable kitchen (fully stocked with pans, plates, glasses, etc). A large TV, split A/C units, and a modern bathroom help make us feel at home.
The vacation rental management staff is very helpful and responsive. The entire process is explained, written and reinforced via email and their new phone app.

My husband and I enjoyed a week at the Solaris Cottage in Key West. It was everything the reviews reported and then some.. easy walking distance to cafes, Duval street, wonderful coffee shops and everything we wanted to see. The cottage was extremely clean and cool in the Key West heat. We loved that we could cook breakfast every morning and enjoy the birds singing just outside the front door. The cottage is super private and a very comfortable place to hang out after exploring all day. We met the owner who lives upstairs (she was very nice), but she was so quiet we never knew she was around. We would love to stay here again.

Delightful little one-bedroom oasis tucked into a lane very convenient to all parts of Key West. Biking and walking only - no car needed. Lovely neighbors who made wonderful restaurant suggestions. All our daily needs were met - kitchen had all needed appliances and the washer/dryer were a plus! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place near everything. Parking a car is a real issue as there is not parking near the cottage. Very clean and quaint.

The property was clean and well maintained. The owner and manager provided good customer service. The property description was accurate. We were, however, awakened pretty much every night by noise. The recycling truck came by in the middle of the night and dumped the glass bottles into the truck making all kinds of noise, drunk guests from across the lane would come home at 12:30 and 4:45 in the morning yelling and laughing, and people skateboarding in the road on ramps at 12:30 in the morning. The location of the property was convenient. Besides the noise issue, I was happy with the property.

Only a short walk to the food market and Duval Street, very quiet and safe neighborhood. This is a wonderful little cottage, extremely clean, nicely appointed kitchen, we cooked in a lot, comfortable bed. We stayed for 10 days and would highly recommend this property. We are in our 70's and loved the fact that there are no stairs. Great WiFi and cable TV, nice garden area to grill out, and it has a washer/dryer. Yeaaaa!

I loved Solaris Cottage. The location was convenient and within walking distance to the beach, Duval Street shops, marina and sunset pier. It was clean and well stocked. The owner is extremely friendly. There was a very nice cat, Gloria, which kept us company when we wanted it.
