THE PROPERTY: This home’s Key West charm and modern amenities make for a wonderful stay. From the Adirondack chair front porch to the private backyard pool, you will quickly fall into the island vibe in this home. A mix of historic Dade County pine and gentle white walls adds to the allure of this home.
As you enter the first floor and look beyond the rich staircase, the contemporary kitchen with butcher block island is sure to catch your eye. Stainless steel appliances and open shelving keep this space bright and airy. You will find all the equipment you need to prepare your meals, as you enjoy conversations in the open concept layout. The cool and comfy living room with large TV and plenty of seating for family and friends, leads to your private pool. Enjoy a dip or keep an eye on the kiddos from the covered gazebo. With sunshine and loungers, you are sure to enjoy this backyard oasis. A gas grill is available for your use, or you may walk to the many restaurants in the neighborhood.
The first floor also includes a convenient half bath as well as a sunny king bedroom with ensuite bath and walk in shower. A dresser, nightstands, closet, ceiling fan and TV will make you feel at home. Follow the Dade County pine staircase to the second floor where you will find the remaining three ensuite bedrooms. The twin bedroom with ensuite bath and vaulted ceiling is charming and has plenty of space for your family. The beds cannot be joined to form a king, but your children will enjoy having their own beds. The other two king bedrooms have ensuite baths with walk in showers, bedside tables, lamps, and natural light.
Should you need additional space for wedding guests or a family reunion, Grand Maison may be rented together with Petite Maison. Together, both properties sleep a total of 12 guests and boast 6 ensuite bedrooms. Please see Maisons de Luxe to rent both homes.
BED CONFIGURATION: Grand Maison has four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and TV. The first-floor king bedroom is perfect for family members who prefer single floor accommodations. There are 3 equally beautiful bedrooms on the second floor. One bedroom has two twin beds (cannot be joined together) and the other two bedrooms have king beds.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Private saline pool with water feature surrounded by sunshine, palm trees and lounge chairs. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. A comfortably furnished outdoor gazebo and gas grill are available just steps outside the double sliding glass doors. In addition, enjoy coffee on the covered front porch or people-watch from the second-floor covered balcony.
PARKING: There is parking for one car however, from this convenient location, you may find yourself touring Key West on foot.
LOCATION: The home is on the southern end of Duval Street near cafes and night clubs. You can walk to many attractions including the Southernmost Point and the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory.
PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.
SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home.

The Grand Maison meet all of our expectations and then more. HKWVR staff was so nice and helpful. They went out of the way to help us with our bags when we arrived in Key West. Very satisfied with the location. Location across from the Banana Cafe and La Grignote. Both great places to eat. We enjoy the Duval Loop Bus (which was free and was AC). Can't wait to go back!!!

This home was everything and more that we could have asked for! We were a party of 7 celebrating a graduation! Kelly- from concierge had balloons and champagne waiting on arrival. House was beautiful, big and best location on Duval Street! Kitchen was fully equipped- we made a huge buffet breakfast one morning- pool was beautiful and perfect size for our group. My only regret is that we did not stay longer!

It was a perfect house for us and our adult children and their spouses. We all had a great time! Each bedroom had its own private ensuite bathroom. It is a beautiful home in a great location - walkable to basically everything. Both the pool/patio area and the kitchen/living room area were wonderful for our family just hanging out. We hope to visit again!

We took our adult kids n spouses and loved staying here. Everyone had their own rooms w private bathroom. It was a gorgeous home. Extremely comfortable furniture in den n kitchen for all of us to gather n play cards or snack. The pool was wonderful to relax n laugh after long busy day before dinner

We came to celebrate my husbands 60th. The house was spectacular! It felt so homey and comfortable. The back patio/porch/pool was added fun! The location was perfect, very walkable to everything. The house was so wonderful and exceeding our expectations. The location on Duvall street was perfect, close enough to walk to almost everything but still quiet and away from the crowds. The house was beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. Everyone enjoyed having their own space with large ensuite bedrooms. The back deck and pool area were charming and the perfect hang out spot. The property manager was extremely kind, helpful and professional. We did not have any issues but I am sure they would have been responded to promptly. We loved our family trip to Key West.

Rental was for us and our 3 adult kids and spouses. We loved the house. Well maintained and stocked. Great location, walking distance to most everything. The small private pool was a bonus that was wonderful at the end of a long day of walking and exploring. The Historic KW staff were excellent at communication and helpfulness. Our week at Grand Maison was wonderful. The house was even more beautiful than the photos showed. We were a group of 7 with each couple having a spacious bedroom and ensuite. The pool is much larger than it appears and was a welcome pleasure after a day of exploring Key West.
The management were super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We definitely recommend Historic Key West Vacation Rentals, and will be returning to Key West.

We had such a great experience staying at the Grand Maison. The house layout (each bedroom with a bathroom), large living space & outdoor area are all so well thought out. We loved the location of the house (close to Southmost point) and right on a main strip of great restaurants. Last (but definitely not least), the Historic Key West Vacation Rentals team was fantastic to work with. Definitely hope to visit again in the future!

Everything was great! This house has so much to offer. We had plenty of room for our family without feeling cramped. The location was perfect. There was no need to rent, you could walk out the front door and be wherever in a short walk. The porch was perfect for relaxing. I would recommend this home for your stay. It is its own “Oasis” right off of Duval street.

This was the perfect spot for an 8-person ladies trip! Great location. Very clean, spacious and decorated nicely. Had everything we need! The pool was a big bonus! All of the porches were excellent.
Close enough to many attractions, but on the quieter side of the island. Great people watching from the porch. We rented bikes and rode around a lot.
Historic Key West Vacation Rentals provided excellent customer service and were very accommodating and helpful.
We hope to visit again soon!

It's a beautiful home, very nicely furnished. We were a multigenerational party of eight and there was plenty of room. The location is perfect -- on Duval, but at the quiet end; an easy walk to the action.

We had a sibling reunion. The house is nicely decorated with many sitting areas for all of us. The front porch allows you to watch the woolens wondering south Duval st. It’s location is great if you seek to be on the quieter end

I can't say enough good things about this house, as well as the service from Historic Key West Rentals. We had a group of 8 ladies that had a blast and agreed that we couldn't have picked a better spot. The house is right across the street from Banana Cafe, home of the best quiche around, and just minutes away from a million other great restaurants, bars and attractions. It's nice being out of the loudest parts of Duval but close enough to quickly get to all the big attractions. The kitchen and living room are spacious and beautifully decorated. The pool is smaller but a perfect size to lounge and cool off in the heat of the day. There is lots of good shade in this area, which is a nice break in the harsh mid-day sun. The beds were all very comfortable. The upstairs bedrooms are spacious with a lovely view off the balcony. Any maintenance issues were addressed IMMEDIATELY. The Historic Key West Vacation Rentals folks could teach a master class on service. Top Notch!

Our expectations were exceeded! This is a great property. The home was well maintained and had everything that we could have needed. The pool was a life saver during the hot August days. The house is located in an ideal part of town. It's right on the main drag of Duval.....but far away enough from the "busy" part of town that it was quiet at bed time. We hope to be back soon.

The house and staff of Historical Key West Vacation Rentals were superb. From the moment of the first phone call and throughout the entire process of questions, booking, calling again to arriving (they invited us to stay cool in the office until ourhouse was ready and went out of their way to assist us to our beautiful house!!).
All bedrooms have a separate up to date bathroom. Great privacy. Spacious living room with spacious patio.
Our gathering was for a family wedding which this house was a perfect fit.
We had a glitch with the grill on Sunday which maintenance arrived quickly and the barbeque went on without any interruptions.
I can't say it enough, that this house was superb for all of us and it could be a show home: freshly painted in and out, well maintained, beautiful accents and furniture.
Thank you to all that made our "Destination Wedding" memorable.

This house was a wonderful spot for our entire family, which included all ages from child to grandparents. The house was spotless on our arrival and provided plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. We all enjoyed the pool and the vibrant neighborhood. We walked to breakfast, afternoon ice cream, and cocktails, and anything else we needed. A wonderful stay!

This house exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Plenty of space for 8 women on a girls trip. The pool and outdoor space was perfect. Kitchen was well equipped and large enough for our group. very charming home. ONLY negative is the empty lot next door that seemed to attract a lot of roosters. We had to buy earplugs because the roosters crowed very loudly from about 5am until 8am.

Great place. Realize you can't keep out all of the critters in a tropical island so we did have contact with 2 cockroaches. Unfortunately, my 75 year old sister missed the step down off the back deck and fell flat on her face, spraining her wrist. Suggest you maybe put a red marker at end of top deck as when you walk out the back from the kitchen you can distinguish the step down.

Thank you for your feedback, we certainly hope your sister is OK after her unfortunate fall and that she is doing well. The home is serviced every month by a professional pest control company but we do suggest you keep doors and windows shut, especially during the summer months to reduce the chance of critters finding their way in.

What a great house! It is decorated like a Fixer Upper house which is gorgeous. We loved the layout of the kitchen, great room and covered porch leading out to the deck by the pool. It was clean and well maintained. The manager, Phil was very accommodating and friendly. He gave us great restaurant tips, like the great bakery across the street for breakfast and the Banana Cafe for dinner across the same street. We didn't need a car, as we were right on the main street and it is the quiet end of Duvall Street which is a positive. It was fun to sit on the front porch in the Adirondacks and watch the world go by.

Everything was great. The house was everything we hoped for and more. Only drawback was the WiFi it was NOT good. Only worked in small section of the house and would fade in and out. It was important to some guests because they have businesses they had to keep in contact. It should be up graded.
