THE PROPERTY: Villa Josine not only has curb appeal but also is a stunning example of a Key West eyebrow house. This architectural style was popular in the 1800’s and helped keep the second story cool, prior to the advent of air conditioning. Unlike those of the 1800’s, this home has been completely renovated with modern amenities and high-end designer finishes. It’s large enough for your entire family to enjoy.
There are 4 spacious bedrooms with 4 ensuite baths. Located on the first floor are two of the bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two twin beds. This sleeping area would be ideal for a young family or older family members. Two additional bedrooms are located on the second floor, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. All bedrooms include TVs and ceiling fans and are brilliantly furnished, such that you may not want to leave your room. There is also a convenient half bath on the first floor.
The main area on the first floor includes a grand, vaulted ceiling and a large, open concept living room/dining room and kitchen. Top of the line stainless steel appliances, white quartz counter tops and open shelving will allure your family’s chef to create sumptuous meals, even while on vacation. The kitchen is adorned with a large island with seating for four and is cleverly trimmed in historic Dade County pine. An additional dining area overlooks the back of the home and private pool via a wall of glass doors.
Step outside onto the spacious, comfortably furnished covered deck. You can spend time reading, relaxing, or chilling in the pool. Surrounded by lush landscaping, you will feel as if you are in a private wonderland.
Beautiful furnishings and natural light abound throughout this home. Nooks and crannies, eclectic art and Key West charm are elegantly highlighted in this unique and exquisite home. Come stay a while in Villa Josine!
BED CONFIGURATION: The home offers 4 bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom. The 2 first floor bedrooms offer a king bed and 2 twin beds, while the 2 second floor bedrooms offer a king bed and a queen bed. **The twin beds cannot be joined to form a king.**
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Enjoy your morning coffee or tea on Villa Josine’s welcoming front porch. Relax at the back of the home by the large sparkling pool with friends and family or enjoy a respite from the sun on the covered deck. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. Outdoor dining on the deck is a wonderful option with seating for eight and a gas grill. Whatever you choose, this private, tropical outdoor area is exactly what you think of when you think of Key West.
PARKING: This home offers the convenience of off-street parking for one vehicle.
LOCATION: Villa Josine sits in a quiet neighborhood on Elizabeth Street - one of the most sought-after streets in Key West! Relax in the heart of the "Old Town North of Truman” district, which is conveniently located within walking distance to all the fun activities and fine dining that Key West has to offer. You are just a few steps from the historic Key West Cemetery and only two blocks from world famous Duval Street. William Butler Park is nearby, as are several Key West Conch homes.

The location is ideal, you are just blocks from Duval Street. The house was impeccable. There was more than enough room for all of us. The backyard/pool area was gorgeous and secluded. It was your own little paradise. I would highly recommend!

The home we stayed in exceeded my expectations. The pictures on the website looked nice, but once we entered the home, we were very happy. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The living area was also large and very comfortable, and the pool was absolutely perfect a very private oasis. Most important was how clean home was. Although we never actually met property management in person, they were completely friendly and very accommodating.

Villa Josine was perfection! The house was not only beautifully decorated but it was immaculately clean. The pool was beautiful and the deck was the best place to relax with our morning cup of coffee and tea. The property location was pure perfection, convenient to ride bikes everywhere. The concierge service offered by the rental company was so helpful with all of our needs from bike rentals to booking things to do like snorkeling, parasailing, and a sunset cruise. I can’t recommend this rental or the agency enough! We will definitely be back!!!

The home is large but cozy, spotless and beautifully decorated! The pool was warm and clean, outdoor landscaping made space very private. We were able to get groceries delivered in 15 minutes - very convenient. We did not rent a car and were able to walk everywhere without any issues. The hosts were easy to reach and we felt home was very safe.

This was one of the BEST vacation rentals we have ever been in! The Villa is so well maintained and beautifully decorated and remodeled inside. Everything was top notch. We loved all the artwork! It is nicely laid out, room for everyone and places to get away from another if needed. It is very well stocked in all the rooms. The linens are wonderful too. Not cheap and inexpensive like other rentals we have been in. The kitchen has everything you would need. It was nice to have a washer and dryer as well. The pool was an added plus and we all used it multiple times everyday. It is super clean as they have weekly pool service. The parking was easy especially if you have an extra car that needs parking on the street. But the parking area included is larger than we thought. We had 2 golf carts that fit nicely. The Villa is in a great area so we pretty much walked to dinners in the evening. It’s very safe as well. It was fun to have the carts to get into town. Everything is so close! Every restaurant we went to was excellent. The Historic Key West Rental company was a joy to deal with. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful. They even arranged our cart rental for us. Their concierge Cindy was beyond helpful! She sent out a huge list of things to do and see while in Key West. I can’t wait to go back and spend more time exploring the town and especially staying at Villa Josine. I would not hesitate staying at any of their properties. They are a fantastic group to work with! I loved the fact that they really made you feel welcome and were happy you were there. Great experience!!

Great house. We were 4 couples. Living space was excellent. Loved the heated pool and private backyard. One couple did have to sleep in the twin beds. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice. Nice to have laundry especially since it poured rain. We were able to get both our cars in the driveway without hanging over the sidewalk. House is 3-4 blocks off of Duval. We never used our cars. Will rent again for sure!

Villa Josine was as beautiful in person as in the photos. The outdoor pool area was a little taste of paradise, especially with the covered veranda and comfortable furniture. The inside was tastefully furnished, the kitchen was perfectly stocked, the beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of space meet, eat and play! The location was ideal for us - we walked everywhere with no problem. The responsiveness of property management was very good - our ice machine froze over and it was fixed the same day. I would highly recommend this home for your next trip to Key West! We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our time at Villa Josine. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, the kitchen was furnished with anything that we wanted. The covered back porch area is nice, we sat out there every day, especially in the mornings. The heated pool was great. It’s a fun place to stay because it is close enough to walk to so many good restaurants and music.

Villa Josine was exactly as advertised. It is a well-kept property, the landscaping added privacy and a lush tropical feel to the outdoor spaces. The pool area was clean, pool was heated which was important in January, and pool towels conveniently located next to the deck sliding doors. The outside covered porch was wonderful for drinks or dining, well lit and with cooling ceiling fans.
Inside, 4 en-suite bedrooms however one has 2 twin beds, and since we were 3 couples it wasn’t an issue, but convenient if traveling with children. Beds were very comfortable, sheets were crisp. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms also. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The stairs up to the 2 upstairs bedrooms are a little narrow and steep, be careful.
Washer and dryer worked just fine.
The kitchen/living/dining area is very generously sized and nicely furnished. It functions especially well to be able to have guests enjoying the sitting areas while someone is in the kitchen and yet still part of the group. Large fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee machine, blender, oven all in excellent condition and worked well. The new Weber Genesis grill on the pool deck was fabulous.
Kitchen supplies were good, enough glasses, dishes etc for at least 8 and plastic glasses for poolside.
The location is a quiet one-way narrow street and if you have more than one car, (2 small ones will fit in the driveway though) you might have to hunt for parking spaces. The quiet street is lovely. Walkable to Duval.

This gorgeous house really did feel like a home! The owners of obviously put meticulous care into curating and decorating this house, which made it feel more like a home during our vacation. It was a great location for getting to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the pool and the lush vegetation outside every day.

We were a mixed age group and this house and location were perfect. We walked to so many places in Key West - dinner every night and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool - it felt like we were on a tropical island. The rental company was very communicative too. This was the perfect home for our family of 4 (plus au pair). We loved that each large bedroom had its own bathroom. The decor was so fun, the home was well built (no creaking floors), the A/C worked incredibly well, the pool was awesome and the open kitchen/family room was perfect for some great family time during a rainy afternoon. The location is perfect being a couple blocks from the action on Duvall street, a couple blocks from some of the best restaurants in town and yet very quiet at night. The rental company was so helpful and the concierge service was such an added bonus including helping us set up a snorkeling trip, get groceries delivered and recommend a place to get lunch for our snorkeling trip - we can’t wait to go back!!

The pool area is also a perfect setup that we enjoyed every day. Check in and check out process was flawless even with a late arrival. This was simply the best experience renting a home I’ve ever had. Everything was as advertised! The home is in Old Town Key West, 2 blocks off Duval but aside from a random plane we heard NO NOISE from anywhere. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 up all with their own connected baths. Everything has been updated with high quality finishes and fixtures. The pool is the perfect size for a dip after a great meal or to cool off after walk down Duval. The porch off the back of the house is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or to watch it rain in the afternoon. Everything is so clean you would think it was brand new. We loved every minute of it. The folks at Historic Key West Rentals were FANTASTIC! From my very first contact to picking up our luggage on the way to the airport - they were wonderful!! They put me completely at ease that everything was going to be as perfect as we wanted it to be.

Our recent stay at Villa Josine was beyond expectations. The property was even more beautiful in person. A perfect mix of Old Key West architecture and modern amenities. The outside property and pool area was gorgeous and clean. Our group of 8 was the perfect fit. From the start of my rental search through the end of our vacation, the staff at Historic Key West was welcoming and accommodating. They even store your luggage if you arrive early or depart after checkout and offered use of their facilities and snacks. Villa Josine is an amazing house in a great location. The house was very clean when we arrived. The house had a comfortable feel to it. We found it to be located in a perfect spot - very comfortable walks to both the southernmost end of the island and Mallory Square. And, Duvall street was just a couple of blocks away. I would definitely recommend Villa Josine! The team at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals were great to work with and we will be back!!

In between rain showers and rain storms on our last two days we jumped in the pool and made the best of it! Plenty of space for our crew to decompress and have movie time! Loved the big kitchen to cook meals and spend the much needed time together! This home looks exactly as pictured! Spacious, super clean and a bathroom in every room was just perfect!
This home has everything you need and within walking distance to everything. We even made a concert featuring the David Shaw at the Key West Theatre! Definitely one of my favorite accommodations and we will be back!

We had 7 people come from different parts of the country to celebrate a 50th birthday.
The house was beautiful. It looked like the pictures and didn’t disappoint.
We lived that each room had its own bathroom.
We spent a lot of time out by the pool which was perfectly heated.
The location is a quick (10 minute walk) from Duval St, so the location is great too.
We had a private chef come in to make and serve a meal. The kitchen is fantastic for that and we dined out on the covered patio.
The concierge was amazing to ask any questions we had and was quick to respond. In fact, the disposal stopped working and with 20 minutes there was a repair man at the door to fix.
Amazing experience and would definitely rent again!

The house was beautiful, well maintained and in a very quite neighborhood. The decorations were tasteful and made you feel comfortable and at home. The location was close to Duvall street but was a 10-15 minute walk to the main restaurants and bars. We had 8 adults on this trip and the house was plenty large enough to accommodate us. We have stayed at numerous hotels and a variety of houses as we travel to Key West 2-3 times a year. I would certainly stay here again but would recommend the following addtions. I was disappointed in several things that I believe are important to not only the comfort of our stay but would have made us feel thought of. 1) I arrived by myself at 4:30PM and would have appreciated at least 1-4 cold bottles of water waiting for me in the refrigerator, really a case of water is a minor expense to show your customers you are thinking of them. When you spend over $10,000.00 for a rental, it would have been a nice inexpensive gesture. I had to walk to a neighbor store (we did not have a rental car this trip) and carry the water back. 2) In this day and time I can't imagine not having a Keurig type Coffee system in the kitchen. With 8 different people drinking coffee it was quite the ordeal to make numerous pots of coffee instead of each of us preparing our own flavor, de-caf, etc... There are several coffee makers who offer the K-cups with a full carafe option. 3) The pillows were ALL down and very soft. It would have been nice to have a couple options of hard or firm pillows as each bedroom had numerous pillows on the bed.4) Again, small items but it would have been nice to have more than 2 rolls of paper towels for a full weeks stay, only 3 small dish towels were provided. When you arrive there is not much provided and nothing left over from previous guests so you have to buy extra paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap for showers, laundry soap and dryer sheets. The house was beautiful, well maintained and in a very quite neighborhood. The decorations were tasteful and made you feel comfortable and at home. The location was close to Duvall street but was a 10-15 minute walk to the main restaurants and bars. We had 8 adults on this trip and the house was plenty large enough to accommodate us. We have stayed at numerous hotels and a variety of houses as we travel to Key West 2-3 times a year. I would certainly stay here again but would recommend the following addtions. I was disappointed in several things that I believe are important to not only the comfort of our stay but would have made us feel thought of. 1) I arrived by myself at 4:30PM and would have appreciated at least 1-4 cold bottles of water waiting for me in the refrigerator, really a case of water is a minor expense to show your customers you are thinking of them. When you spend over $10,000.00 for a rental, it would have been a nice inexpensive gesture. I had to walk to a neighbor store (we did not have a rental car this trip) and carry the water back. 2) In this day and time I can't imagine not having a Keurig type Coffee system in the kitchen. With 8 different people drinking coffee it was quite the ordeal to make numerous pots of coffee instead of each of us preparing our own flavor, de-caf, etc... There are several coffee makers who offer the K-cups with a full carafe option. 3) The pillows were ALL down and very soft. It would have been nice to have a couple options of hard or firm pillows as each bedroom had numerous pillows on the bed.4) Again, small items but it would have been nice to have more than 2 rolls of paper towels for a full weeks stay, only 3 small dish towels were provided. When you arrive there is not much provided and nothing left over from previous guests so you have to buy extra paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap for showers, laundry soap and dryer sheets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ar Villa Josine. The house is beautiful and very clean. The layout is perfect for groups who need four rooms. Each room is clean and private and has it own bathroom. The kitchen and great room area are plenty big enough to accommodate large groups. The deck and pool area are amazing. We enjoyed hanging by the pool very much. Plus it is a quick walk to Duval Street.

Villa Josine is an awesome house in a great location. The house was very clean when we arrived. The house had a comfortable feel to it. We found it to be located in a perfect spot - very comfortable walks to both the southernmost end of the island and Mallory Square. And, Duvall street was just a couple of blocks away. Close enough to the action for easy access but far enough away that you didn't hear it from the house. I would definitely recommend Villa Josine! And, the folks at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals were great to work with.

Perfect house for a group of 8. Driveway was a plus - and fit two golf carts perfectly - with room for bikes. Landscape was amazing in the back yard. Outside of S&P the Kitchen stock will be up to you - but Publix Grocery store has a delivery service that we timed at our arrival!

We love Elizabeth Street! It’s the perfect location and so very attractive . This house has lots of comfy bedrooms and expansive living areas both indoors and out. Were do I start? Everything was PERFECT!!! The home is in a great location where everything is walkable and there is private/off street parking which was great. The bedrooms are spacious and each have their own amazing bathroom, making this place better then any hotel that we could have stayed at in The Keys. The kitchen and living room are so cozy and filled with beautiful natural light by day and great recessed lighting by night. We actually dinner cooked at the house most nights to enjoy this space as much as we could. The back porch and pool area feel like your own little oasis filled with palm trees and tons of greens. The house was extremely clean when we arrived and the women at Historic Key West Rentals were extremely helpful and made it a breeze to check in after they were closed. All 8 of us felt very much at home here and each can not wait to return!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!!

We have traveled to key west for the superboat races for the past 5 years . Our rental home at Billa Josie’s was by far the best experience we have had so far. The house was GORGEOUS ! Every bedroom and bathroom were beautiful and unique. The living space was AMAZING! Our favorite part by far was the kitchens and outdoor space . The pool was perfect and the landscaping made it seem like you were in your own private oasis ! Thank you ! We made amazing memories :)

This was the best house and location. Two blocks from duval street so nearby to walk to many places but far enough not to hear the noise. The company was fantastic and so responsive. We had a couple of minor issues and they were at the door almost before I hung up the phone. We would definitely go back and encourage anyone to rent this villa.
