Boutique Luxury Vacation Rentals

Thank you for your concern regarding the safety of our staff!

We are grateful to you, our guests who share our love of this island. We need you to come “home” to Key West as part of our recovery. We might be a little less green, but our famous Key West hospitality will be better than ever. We appreciate your patience as we restore your island paradise.

Your island vacation paradise is on its way to recovery following Hurricane Irma on Sept. 10, just days ago. Key West was spared the worst of the storm and we are grateful. We here at Historic Key West Vacation Rentals will soon be ready to welcome our vacation rental guests.

Key West residents and business owners began returning to the island on Sunday, Sept. 17. This is the first step of returning to normal. Visitors are asked to delay their arrival on the island at this time. Historic Key West Vacation Rentals will officially re-open for business as soon as we have reliable electric, water and internet services in Key West. In the meantime, several of our staff are working remotely to manage our guests’ needs.

We know the question top on your mind is “when will we be able to return to
Key West for our vacation”? We are contacting our guests in order of arrival to assist with their plans. We have every confidence that reservations in place for
mid-to-late-October and beyond are secure and that we will be ready for you.

We encourage our guests who were affected in September by Hurricane Irma to
file their travel insurance claims now, directly with the insurance company. As soon as we have reliable communications in place, which we expect within the next 10 days, we will be able to respond efficiently to your emails and rental inquiries and answer your specific questions.

We are grateful to the first responders who are repairing our island’s infrastructure and ensuring that Key West returns to its legendary reputation as a vacation paradise.

Our staff is safe. Our homes survived the storm. Our challenges are many
and we are prepared Keys Strong to meet them successfully. We look forward to welcoming you to your island paradise. We are grateful for your patience as we make Key West ready for you.

See you soon!

Although we can’t set a specific back-to-normal date
yet, here’s what we do know:

* Key West is doing everything possible to be open for tourists by Fantasy
Fest, Oct. 20-29. That’s ambitious and if anyone can do it, the Key West
Strong spirit can make it happen.

* Our vacation rental homes escaped significant structural damage, which is
a blessing. Our on-island staff has begun the clean-up and restoration
process. Like the city of Key West, our neighborhoods suffered tree and
landscape damage. We still don’t have reliable electric or internet service.
Running, potable tap water is not readily available. Over the next several
weeks, our staff will work diligently to restore them to our high standards
to serve our guests.

* Restaurants, entertainment venues, small business owners and retail
shopping centers are working hard to bring home their staff and undertake
the challenging clean-up and restoration that will ensure our guests
experience the best Key West offers.
